The New York Knickerbockers seem poised to do it again, and are rumored to sign undersized number 2 scoring-option Jalen Brunson out of free agency for four years and $100 million, which would make him one of the highest-paid and most offensive-load-bearing players on a team whose primary option RJ Barrett has never shot above league average from the field, and whose other biggest piece is Julius Randle. Yikes.
